We headed over to the Vinoy hotel today in St. Pete and hit up the Women’s Half Marathon Expo! We went to packet pickup and flew thru in no time!
They were so organized and I did not have to wait any more than 5 minutes no matter what line I was in. The corral each person is assigned to correlates to the race number. Lower race number = lower corral. Look for me in the first corral with bib # 1052!!
Marcus’ cousin Claire came down from the panhandle, and joined us at the expo. She is running her first half marathon tomorrow! Good luck Claire!
We were in and out of the expo pretty quick! Probably under 30 minutes. There were so many awesome vendors, but I am saving my pennies for all that Christmas shopping! We checked out the course map, and were outta there.
We enjoyed our Starbucks drinks on the way home! I didn’t get to take advantage of the BOGO drinks, as Marcus is not a fan of sugary coffee drinks. More for me! Mmmm peppermint mocha 
My clothes are all laid out for an early morning – we have about a 30 minute ride to the start. I can’t wait to race in my new Lululemon skirt! It’s pretty awesome
Now I am off to spend some time with the fam! My in-laws came in town tonight so they could come to the race tomorrow. I’m excited they are going to see my race for the first time. Have a great rest of your Saturday!
