The Country Music Marathon Race Expo

Another race, another expo! The Country Music Marathon race expo was held at the Nashville Convention Center downtown, and was pretty big! We got in pretty quick to grab our race numbers, and the lines were super short. We were lucky to get in yesterday before lunch, so we beat a lot of the crowd :)

We grabbed our race number, shirt, and then our bag. The female T-shirt, like all of the other Rock N Roll Races, runs a bit small. I heard this a few months back when I signed up for the race, so I went ahead and got a size up. You are not able to trade your shirt for a different size at the expo, but you can at the finish line.

Brooks Running is the apparel sponsor for Rock N Roll, so they had all the best gear there. I have far too much running stuff as it is, so I didn’t buy anything, but sure to stop by the Brooks Run Happy Calvacade Of Curiosities! They were set up in the expo, and had quite the turnout!

By filling out your info, you get a card that is scanned for a prize. You can win anything from a Brooks Bandana to a new pair of shoes. I ended up with just the bandana, but the girl in front of me won a new pair of Brooks shoes! So close!! I was ready to Run Happy after leaving the Calvacade!

There were a lot of vendors at the expo, and it is always fun to see what everyone has. I picked up a couple little giveaways, but really didn’t need much else. We were only there for about 35 minutes, and headed out to grab lunch, rest, and get ready for the marathon. By the time this posts, I’ll be running through the streets of Nashville!

See you after 26.2!!
