A Tuesday post??? I know – quite out of the ordinary, but I have something I want to share!
Every Monday I run in the evening with the local Lululemon store’s run club. It has been around now for a few months, and is really starting to grow. A few of my friends message me through GroupMe to let me know they were coming last night as well, so I was even more excited. Run clubs are always more fun with friends!
We walked up and saw a great turn out at the store! I was so happy to see so many people showed up to join us on our run. There were some new faces, and a lot of returning ones as well (Hi Whitney and Gabriella!). Meghann, Felipe, and Jess even showed up. I was sooo happy they came! We always have so much fun at swim workouts, so it was even better to have it carried over to my favorite sport – running!
We headed out of the store for our run, and about a quarter-mile in, I saw a group of ladies with some signs. I honestly didn’t know what to think at first – I didn’t even read it. And then they all screamed “Mary, will you be our ambassador!?” I was so surprised by their awesome “proposal” and then I finally read the sign yoga mat. It took me a minute for me to comprehend everything and I forgot to say a very important answer, Yes!! Thanks Dee for squeezing that out of me 
As I look back at it now, it makes a lot more sense. Two of the ladies that work at the store, Dee and Sarah, both contacted me today to make sure I was coming to run club. I thought nothing of it, but they were plotting like crazy! Tricksters!!
Meghann and Marcus were completely in on the scheme too! It was up to the two of them to make sure that showed up to run group – good job you two P.S. – Thanks for the great photos Meghann!!
After the big reveal, we were off on a very wet run! It was bright and shiny when we started, and then started pouring about a mile in. That’s Florida for ya! It made the run even more fun – running in the rain makes me feel like a little kid, and I love it!!
We were all soaked to the bone when we got back and enjoyed some yummy smoothies from Smoothie King, then socialized a bit. It was such an awesome experience!
It was definitely the best run club yet (I wonder why?!), and I can not wait to be a part of the lovely Lululemon culture through my role as an ambassador. Thanks for the opportunity Lululemon! I am beyond excited!!

I run with my Lululemon Run Club up here in D.C. every Monday night, and I’m so glad the Tampa store has something similar. If I’m ever down visiting on a Monday, I will have to stop by and join you all!
