Thanks so much for all the congratulations for my Lululemon Ambassador Proposal! I feel so loved after each of your comments that I read! I can’t wait to share the fun stuff that comes along with this amazing experience!
I am almost done with my second week of training – 4 full months to go until Chicago! Thank goodness! Even though my workouts have been relatively short, they have been kicking my butt. I have to remind myself that when I started training for my last marathon, it was not the middle of June and 85 degrees out! I am running slower, and it is harder to breathe – it is definitely an adjustment I am making.
I’m learning to cross train more effectively, and have been taking full advantage of the pool being open (and open late!). The swim group that I have been training with kicks my butt! I wouldn’t have it any other way! We had an amazing workout this morning – just another to get my arms burning and ready for another Friday. 7 of us from the team showed up today, and the pool was packed. We ended up all having to share a lane. I wasn’t sure how it was going to work, but we ended up doing sets of 50′s and 100′s, so it worked out perfectly. We lined up in order of speed, and would all start a few seconds behind the person in front of us, so we were staggered quite well. Waking up at 5:30 am isn’t the most fun, but being completely done with my workout by 7:30 am is awesome!
There are a lot of amazing things happening in my life, and I feel like everything is really starting to come together for me! One opportunity that I have been having my eye on ever since I started the blog is the ability to attend a healthy living conference. There are so many to choose from, and I really set a goal to attend one in the next 12 months. Lucky for me, looks like my goal is going to be reached a little sooner than I thought!
This August, I am heading to Boston for the Healthy Living Summit!
I am sooo excited to be attending my first conference (outside of internet marketing), and that it just so happens to be the Healthy Living Summit! I absolutely love Boston, and an even better reason to go – my friend Meghann is planning the event! She has been putting so much work into it, and I can not wait to be able to see the finished product. I have some pretty high expectations, and I know they will be blown out of the water! Can’t wait for August!
Have you ever been to a healthy living conference!? What did you think? Are you headed to Healthy Living Summit this year?
