About Me

Thanks for stopping by Food and Fun on the Run! This is my little place on the internet to share a peak into my life. I live in Tampa, Florida with my wonderful husband, amazing son, and my crazy pup Winnie B!
Holt Wedding Michigan
I went to the University of Central Florida (Go Knights!!) for college, and graduated with a degree in marketing in May of 2009. While at UCF, I ran Cross Country and Track and Field, along with being active in Greek Life. I wouldn’t trade my crazy, jam-packed college life for anything! I am a certified NASM personal trainer and have used the information I learned in the course and incorporated it into my every day life. When I am not at my full time job or spending time with my family, you can usually find me running or in the gym with a client.

Other than my family, my biggest love is running. There is something amazing about being outside, covering mile after mile, that is so rewarding. I have completed eight marathons to date, and have another schedule for the Fall of 2014. I can say that I am most proud of running the 2011 Boston Marathon (of course), and can say the feeling of crossing that finish line brought me the biggest sense of accomplishment.

I started this blog as a way to share my experiences, both good and bad, through running. I am here to tell you that is not easy to take on the sport, but once you do, you will never go back. Running lights up dreary days and is truly the most fun you can have with a great group of friends. My mission in life is to take advantage of every single opportunity that comes my way, and have fun while doing it! I consider myself extremely blessed and thrilled to live the life I do.

I am excited to share my training, tips, trials, and tribulations through this blog! Stick around for a while, we may just learn something from each other!
